Ideal candidates hold EFDA/EDDA certification, X-ray certification, CPR, and are comfortable performing coronal polishing and other expanded functions within state

Qualifications

• EFDA/EDDA certification and dental X-ray certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Nitrous oxide certification required by state regulations.
• Ability to perform coronal polishing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and patient-focused.
• Experience in dental or medical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures and help ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Perform expanded dental functions within the scope of state regulations.
• Take dental X-rays and impressions.
• Place and contour restorations, apply sealants, and perform coronal polishing as permitted.
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide post-treatment instructions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Monitor dental supplies and help keep the office organized and efficient.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Friday: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM.
• Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM to start.
• Opportunity to transition to full-time hours in 2027 as the office grows.

Key Responsibilities:
