Capozzi Dental in Etters, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality, patient-centered care and making a meaningful impact in patients' lives.

We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, competitive hourly wages ($25.00–$30.50), and a comprehensive benefits package. The role supports radiography, room setup, patient records, and restorative procedures in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania or completion of a Dental Assisting Program (or expected in the next 3 months).
• CPR certification (in-house training available).
• PA X-Ray License.
• Strong communication skills to foster team spirit and ease patient concerns.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control procedures.
• Prior experience using dental software, including Open Dental.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.
• Take radiographs for diagnostics.
• Set up and maintain treatment rooms.
• Review and update patient dental records.
• Assist with placing and contouring fillings.
• Support in placing sealants and restorations.
• Able to complete coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene education.
• Sterilize equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients

• Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania or completion of a Dental Assisting Program (Or expected in the next 3 months)
