Job summary

D4C Dental Brands is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support dentists, manage instruments, and uphold infection control. The position starts in a new office with growth toward full-time as the practice expands, with a schedule including weekdays and Saturdays.

The EFDA will perform expanded functions as allowed by state regulations, take X-rays, educate patients, and maintain records while contributing to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EFDA/EDDA certification and dental X-ray certification required.
• Nitrous oxide certification, as required by the state.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in a dental or medical setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform coronal polishing.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable learning and using dental software and other office technology.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. The EFDA will assist the dentist, provide excellent patient care, and perform expanded dental functions as allowed by state regulations.

This is a new office with an opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the office expands.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM.
• Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM to start.
• As the office grows, this position is expected to transition to full-time hours in 2027.
