The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a dental radiology course, 5 years as a CDA, and completion of an Expanded Functions Course, plus Vermont licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited dental radiology course.
• Five years' experience as a Certified Dental Assistant.
• Successful completion of an accredited Expanded Functions Course.
• Vermont State Dental Assistant Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist in direct placement of restorations and provision of dental care to patients.
• Sterilize, prepare, and inventory dental instruments and supplies.
• Willingness and ability to travel to other CHCB sites as necessary.
