CERTIFICATIONS:CDA or RDA required, X-RAY and Coronal Polishing certification required, EFDA course completion (as mandated per state requirements)

Pay:Starting at $32.00 per hour +

Monthly Bonus:up to $300 additional per month

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist office managers in supporting and supervising back-office employees
• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Takeand processdental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepareand sterilizeinstruments and equipment
• Takeimpressions of the patient's teeth(models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teachpatients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Askabout the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Helppatients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
