Job summary

Mortenson Family Dental Team is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) for a full-time, on-site role at our Prospect, KY location. The position offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus, up to $25/hour based on experience, and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting dentists, managing supplies and patient charges, and ensuring CDC/OSHA compliance. Qualifications require EDDA/EFDA certification, HS diploma, radiology and CPR certs, and background screening.

Qualifications

• EDDA or EFDA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Radiology and CPR certification within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically competent dental care and assists dentists and hygienists.
• Maintains efficient clinic operations, manages supplies, and processes patient charges.
• Adheres to CDC/OSHA safety and infection control guidelines.
• Prepares treatment room and passes instruments, ensuring patient comfort.
• Performs impressions and assists with placing and finishing restorations.
