The Center For Cosmetic Dentistry – Panama City Beach is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Schedule: Monday/Tuesday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, Wednesday 7:30 AM–3:00 PM, Thursday/Friday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

About The Center For Cosmetic Dentistry

• Join a team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community
• Located off North Richard Jackson Boulevard near the Lotus Café and Comfort Suites
• Monday through Friday with no late night or weekend requirements

Additional Responsibilities

• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
• Assisting the dentist in managing dental emergencies
• Improving your clinical skills through continuing education and training opportunities offered by Heartland Dental
• Organizing and maintaining lab equipment, taking and developing X‑rays, and providing comprehensive post‑operative dental procedures to patients

Requirements

• Positive, outgoing personality and exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent patient care skills and strong organizational skills
• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Good manual dexterity
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
• Ability to travel at least once every other month for training, occasionally overnight
• Dental assisting school certificate is a plus
• Previous work experience in a dental practice is a plus
