Hammond Family Dentistry is looking for an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. Indiana X-Ray and EDDA licenses are required.

Work Schedule:

• Monday: 7:45am - 5:15pm
• Tuesday: 8:30am - 7:15pm
• Wednesday: 7:45am - 5:15pm
• Thursday: 6:30am - 3:15pm

Additional responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain lab equipment
• Take and develop X-rays
• Provide post-operative care
• Record patient histories and vital signs
• Assist in managing dental emergencies
• Participate in continuing education

Requirements:

• Positive personality, excellent communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Ability to build rapport and manual dexterity
• Computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Travel for training (occasional overnight)
• Dental assisting certificate and experience are pluses
