Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison between the Board, residents, staff, vendors, and management company.
  • Provide professional guidance to help the Board accomplish its goals for the community.
  • Implement Board policies, decisions, directives, and approved community initiatives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administrative, operational, financial, and maintenance functions of the condominium.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance, safety, appearance, and compliance concerns.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, capital improvement projects, and emergency response activities.
  • Solicit and review vendor proposals, assist with contract negotiations, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Prepare for and attend Board, membership, budget, and committee meetings as required.
  • Assist with meeting agendas, management reports, action-item tracking, notices, records, and follow-up.
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of the annual operating budget.
  • Review financial reports, invoices, expenses, account balances, and budget variances.
  • Maintain accurate association records and ensure required notices and documentation are properly distributed and retained.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and service requests.
  • Monitor compliance with governing documents, rules, regulations, policies, and Florida laws.
  • Coordinate violation notices and follow-up procedures in a fair, consistent, and well-documented manner.
  • Work with association counsel, insurance professionals, engineers, contractors, and other specialists when necessary.
  • Support hurricane preparedness, emergency planning, and post-storm response procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the community and promote a professional, service-oriented environment.

Community Association Manager – HOA

Location: Hollywood, Florida

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Community Association Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for a condominium community in the Hollywood area.

The Community Association Manager will work closely with the Board of Directors to help establish community priorities, implement Board decisions, and maintain a high standard of service for residents. This is a hands-on leadership position is responsible for overseeing the community’s daily operations, including staff supervision, property maintenance, financial administration, vendor management, resident communication, and compliance with governing documents and Florida law.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining positive relationships with Board members, residents, employees, vendors, and professional partners.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation

Salary is Up to $100,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and the needs of the community.

Location Requirement

This is a full-time, in-person position in the Hollywood area. Because the role requires a consistent on-site presence and timely response to community needs, candidates should live within approximately 30 minutes of the Hollywood area or be willing to relocate before beginning employment.

License Requirement

Community Association Managers must hold an active and valid license issued by the State of Florida.
