Job summary

Accordion Partners is seeking an Associate in Exit Planning & Transaction Support to join our Strategic Finance Practice. You will support sell-side processes, build financial models, and prepare equity stories for PE-backed transactions.

Based in the US with hybrid work (2 days remote) and preferred locations NYC, Boston, Chicago, or Dallas; 3–5 years IB/PE/Quality of Earnings experience required; strong Excel and BI skills a must. Salary ranges 120k–170k with benefits and bonus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or quality of earnings.
• Strong Excel and BI tool usage for financial analyses.
• Experience with data-driven deal support and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop equity story and go-to-market materials.
• Create granular financial, operational analyses using Excel and BI tools.
• Analyze synergies, add-backs, and pro-forma financials.
• Populate investor-ready data room.
• Support due diligence responses from buyers.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
