Position: Existing Industry Expansions Manager
The Existing Industry Expansions Manager (EIEM) is responsible for cultivating relationships with existing companies in the region and supporting any challenges or opportunities they face. The primary duty is to assist North Carolina companies considering expansion within the state, aiming to positively influence investment decisions. Working closely with state, local, and other officials, the main goal is to promote job creation, job retention, and regional investment. The role involves frequent travel within the region, meeting with business and community leaders, and building relationships with stakeholders across Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, McDowell, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey counties.
