Qualifications

• Proficient with small hand tools, power tools, table saw, router and voltmeter.
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills required.
• Able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must be available for evenings, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs installations, de-installations, repairs, cleaning and general maintenance of exhibits and related structures.
• Completes opening/closing procedures and maintains facility throughout the day.
• Maintains a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Keeps Exhibits Manager informed of significant developments and issues.
• Monitors safety of visitors and staff; conducts walk-through inspections.
• Plans and performs repairs and general maintenance; coordinates with facilities staff.
• Assists in building operations as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
