Job summary

Paycom in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an on-site Production Designer to produce accurate construction drawings for exhibits and to provide setup instructions for booth components. You will create detailed prints and 3D parts for CNC routing, supporting shop carpenters and the on-site show supervisor.

The role requires drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD (2018+), and strong 3D modeling skills using Inventor or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting for exhibits or related fields preferred.
• Ability to convey detailed information through elevation plans and exploded views.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2018 or newer).
• 3D modeling skills using AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks are required.

Responsibilities

• Generate shop/construction drawings.
• Create setup prints with booth and location details, electrical and networking requirements, hanging banners, carpet layouts.
• Create 3D parts files for CNC routing.
• Attend production launch meetings and contribute technical expertise.
• Evaluate 3D drawings and engineering blueprints for compatibility and quality.
