Job summary

Czarnowski Display Service, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support the creation of technical drawings for exhibit and tradeshow booths. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor is essential, and you will manage multiple projects in an in-office setting.

You will produce plans, annotate drawings, and collaborate with Project Managers to meet scope, time, and budget. A two-year degree or 3–5 years experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or 3–5 years related experience.
• Construction background helpful.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Experience in 3D modeling with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Produce plans, views, sections and details using established drafting standards and scaling.
• Annotate drawings with hardware call-outs, finish notes and assembly instructions.
• Work closely with Project Managers to complete redline corrections and additions on drawings as necessary.
• Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming convention in accordance with company standards.
• Detail any size project with speed and accuracy.
• Performs project support tasks to ensure project delivery on time, on budget and in scope.
• Must be able to take a project from start to finish.
• Stay current on AutoCAD technology, software, and methods; keep appropriate staff informed of new developments.
