Job summary

The Freeman Company in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Exhibit Drafter to create construction and installation drawings for exhibits and generate tradeshow drawing packages using Inventor. This position supports the Sparks team under the Regional CAD Manager and Project Managers.

Responsibilities include producing drawings for production, assembling drawing packages for project directors and installers, applying fabrication standards, and learning new technologies while maintaining accuracy and

Qualifications

• AS Degree in CAD or Drafting with related coursework.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Inventor, SolidWorks or similar.
• Experience with assembly-based 3D CAD programs and 2D drafting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction drawings for production staff per department standards.
• Assemble tradeshow drawing packages for project directors and installers.
• Apply fabrication standards and learn new technologies as required.
• Inform supervisor of impediments affecting schedule.
• Update job logs with progress on current projects.
• Interact professionally with design and production staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
