Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Scene Generation Modeling and Simulation Engineer to design high-fidelity, physics-based scene generation for ballistic, hypersonic and air-breathing missile threat systems in support of the MDA Advanced Capabilities directorate.

The role emphasizes modeling missile exhaust plume flowfields, kinematics, and radiative signatures across EO/IR spectra to support performance testing of the Missile Defense System, requiring strong aerospace/physics

Qualifications

• US citizenship and a secret level security clearance.
• B.S. in Aerospace or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of professional modeling and simulation experience.
• Experience with radiation transport codes (OSC, MODTRAN) and government/ missile exhaust plume tools (FLITES, SPURC, SPF).
• Knowledge of EO/IR sensor modeling and simulation.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for scientific computing.
