Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. in Williamsport, PA is seeking an Exhaust Operator for 2nd shift to prepare and chemically clean/plate components, load and operate furnaces for brazing, and manage vacuum exhaust tubes. This role is performed under minimal supervision in a semi-routine environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring temperature/pressure, troubleshooting leaks, recording data, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring barcode accuracy. Physical lifting up to 50 lbs and PPE use required.

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment.
• Trainable on programmable DCP’s.

• Prepare and install tubes for exhaust cycle.
• Monitor/control temperature and pressure to meet specifications of various tubes.
• Troubleshoot potential vacuum leaks on tubes and/or exhaust stations.
• Record / maintain data sheets as required by procedure.
• Maintain work area in clean / orderly manner.
• Maintain barcode accuracy at 100%.
• Initiate clear pass down instructions for next shift.
• Grit / Bead blast exhausted tubes and components as specified.
• Inspect/PM equipment as specified.

Overview

Job Title: Exhaust Operator 2nd Shift

Under minimal supervision, and in accordance with written and oral instructions, performs operations required to; prepare and chemically clean/plate components, load and operate furnaces in order to perform brazing operations, load and operate exhaust stations to evacuate (vacuum exhaust) tubes. Standard procedures are established and work is semi-routine in nature
