Job summary

Augusta Health Brand in Fishersville, Virginia is seeking a qualified candidate to oversee the daily operations of the fitness exercise equipment areas. The ideal applicant will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, possess CPR/BLS certification, and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Responsibilities

• Position is responsible for the daily operations of the fitness exercise equipment areas, for assisting members with equipment orientations and for providing members guidance in safe and proper usage of all fitness equipment.
• Performing preventive wellness assessments, organizing and implementing programs pertaining to preventive wellness as well as attending health fairs/outside events representing Augusta Health Lifetime Fitness.

Requirements

• CPR/BLS for healthcare providers or ability to obtain during orientation period.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, Sport Management or a Fitness Related Field required or a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.

Experience

• One year experience working in the fitness field preferred.
