  • Organization: PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation MPD
  • Position Overview: Responsible for assessing the safety of all patients during cardiac stress testing. Monitors patient's vitals and symptoms to ensure safety during exercise treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing. Communicates effectively with healthcare professionals via electronic medical record.
  • Education: Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree. Bachelor's in exercise physiology or related field preferred.
  • Certification & Licensure: BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years in outpatient care, performing exercise procedures, applying exercise physiology principles, developing clinical protocols, and working within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, chemistry, physics; experience with exercise testing and equipment; critical thinking; ability to work independently; supervise exercise for chronic conditions; respond to emergencies.
