Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to develop and implement education, exercise plans, and prescriptions for adult patients in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program in Manchester, NH. The role follows AACVPR standards.

You will conduct intakes, tailor exercise programs for cardiac and vascular patients, and document outcomes. A BS in a related field and a current BLS certification are required, with prior cardiac rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Prior clinical cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in exercise science, exercise physiology, physical therapy or physical education required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on cardiac/vascular disease risk factors and healthy lifestyles.
• Conduct intake interviews for outpatient cardiac rehabilitation.
• Assess risk factors from interview, labs, and medical history.
• Lead safe, structured exercise sessions including warm-up, cardio, resistance, and cool down.
• Document assessments and interventions promptly in patient records.
