Job description

Under general supervision, assists senior staff with the preparation and testing of a variety of complex cardiac diagnostic procedures. Prepares and operates specialized cardiac monitoring equipment. Provides health screening, patient motivation, cardiac rehabilitation sessions, therapeutic treatment, and education for patients.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning, coordinating, instructing, and monitoring clinical weight management program services for small groups and individuals.
2. Participating in the development and implementation of individualized weight loss plans and record-keeping processes.

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science or Biomedical field.
• Four (4) months' experience preferred in a cardiac or similar clinical setting.
• Mandatory competency exam completion and passing.

Certifications/Licenses Required:

• Current BLS-C certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year of hire.
• ACSM Certification as Clinical Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) preferred.
