BayCare is looking for its newest Exercise Physiologist in St. Petersburg, FL. The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Exercise Physiologist serves as a member of the rehab team engaged in performing cardio-pulmonary services. Demonstrate competence in the development and leadership of exercise programs for cardio-pulmonary patients. Evaluate and supervise the patients and remain current in approaches, exercise prescription and treatment of the cardio-pulmonary patient. Act as a preceptor for exercise interns and provide education to the staff and patients in the area of expertise.

Licensure & Certification:

1. BLS is required
2. ACLS is preferred
3. ACSM-CES is preferred

Education:

1. Required Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology or Bachelor’s in Related Field
2. Preferred Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology

Experience:

1. Preferred experience is 2 years Cardiac Rehabilitation
