JOB REQUIREMENTS
Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a Per-Diem basis in our Cardiac Rehab department. The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for supervising, monitoring and providing a safe exercise environment for Phase II/III Cardiac, SET for PAD, and Primary Prevention rehabilitation patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides appropriate evaluation for Phase 2 patients
- Identifies problems and develops individualized exercise prescription (ITP) in accordance with ACSM/AACVPR guidelines and physician recommendations
- Ability to perform and accurately interpret resting and exercise EKG
- Provide treatment based on the treatment plan
- Educate patient and family regarding treatment plan and goals
- Coordination of care
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred: Master's Degree
- Certification: Current BLS certification
- Prefer current ACLS certification
- Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning skills. Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter
- Work Shift: Per-Diem 2 shifts per month (if shifts are available)
