Job summary

Position Summary

Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision.

Job Duties

• Assess patients\’ fitness and health.
• Design exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitness.
• Maintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipment.
• Prepare medical necessity reports.

Education and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science / Physiology required (Master’s preferred).
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required and completion of ACLS certification.
• ACSM Certification a plus.
• Prior experience in a similar role; new graduates considered.
