Job description

Tygart is currently seeking an experienced Executive VTC Technician to support telecommunications initiatives for a Department of Justice (DoJ) customer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating and maintaining VTC infrastructure devices. A current Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administer VTC systems, including updates, changes, audit reporting, and operating procedures.
  2. Provide Tier 3 user support and system coordination.
  3. Offer Tier 2-3 VTC support, including call scheduling, remote conference facilitation, and streaming support.
  4. Coordinate scheduling and support for inter-agency conferences and telephone devices. Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 3 issues.
  5. Provide Tier 2 support for Unified Communications (UC), Desktop Environment (DTE), and integrated conference activities.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • A current Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience operating and maintaining VTC infrastructure devices. Experience providing executive-level support is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows Office 2013, Windows 7, and newer versions of Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to travel to locations for system installations and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure with excellent oral and written communication skills, along with exceptional organizational skills.
