Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities seeks a visionary EVP of Projects and Development to lead all aspects of military housing project stewardship, development management, and asset management. The role centers on delivering high-quality resident experiences while aligning with regulatory and organizational standards.

You will guide strategic initiatives, manage senior leaders, and drive capital planning and project finance activities across a broad geographic portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience leading development, portfolio, or asset management functions in a complex environment.
• At least 10 years building capabilities in these areas.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills with a focus on Resident experience across our portfolio.
• Extensive experience across non-traditional assets and large geographies.
• Expertise in capital planning, financial business cases, and value optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for the Projects & Development function and oversee project stewardship and development management.
• Oversee relationships with the Office of Secretary of War (OSW) and Military Services leadership.
• Drive portfolio and asset management including financial pro formas and lifecycle planning.
• Coordinate development management from concept to approved plans and supervise contractors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, contracts, and BBC policies.
