Job summary

Calista Corporation seeks a Vice President of Human Resources to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all HR operations across the enterprise, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.

The role reports to the President/CEO and partners with Holding Line leadership to align HR programs with business objectives while ensuring compliance, risk management, and a robust safety culture across Anchorage-based operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Ten or more years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level roles.
• Experience with multi-business Native corporation, government contracting or large firms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for HR operations aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Oversee HR policies, compensation, benefits, employee and labor relations, and compliance.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.
• Direct HR risk management, safety programs, and 401(k) and benefit plan administration.
• Collaborate with Holding Line HR Directors to align collective bargaining agreements and HR programs.
• Foster a collaborative work environment across Calista and subsidiaries and travel as required.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
