Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Union, NJ seeks a VP of Human Resources to lead global people strategy in a PE-backed Luxury Manufacturing organization. The role reports to the CEO and Board and will influence workforce analytics, compensation, and talent development.

You will build scalable HR infrastructure, drive executive recruitment and succession planning, oversee global compensation and compliance, and partner with Legal and Finance on risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in multi-brand, international, or PE-backed environments.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's/MBA and SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to connect people investments to business performance and present to Boards.
• Expertise in M&A integration, organizational restructuring, and change management.
• Exceptional executive presence, strategic vision, and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the Executive Leadership Team, advising the CEO and Board on workforce analytics, talent strategy, and value creation.
• Build scalable infrastructure, optimize organizational structures, and lead workforce planning across international markets.
• Drive executive recruitment, leadership development, succession planning, and lead HR due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide executive oversight for global compensation, benefits, compliance, and employment risk mitigation in partnership with Legal and Finance.
• Champion data-driven decision‑making, HRIS optimization, and modern talent management tools.
