Job summary

Cabrillo College seeks an Assistant Superintendent/Vice President, Finance and Administrative Services, to lead the Finance and Administration division. The role directs budgeting, finance, IT, purchasing and contracts, facilities planning, risk management, and safety, aligning operations with district policies and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or public administration or a closely related field
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible management or supervisory experience in financial management, preferably in education or public sector

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the District’s finance, IT, facilities, procurement and related administration programs
• Lead budgeting, accounting, and procurement processes; oversee grants and reporting
• Direct and supervise division directors, managers and staff; set performance expectations
• Develop and implement district-wide strategic plans and financial policies
• Present financial plans and budget proposals to the President and Board of Trustees
