The Allen Institute seeks an Executive Vice President, Co-Director of the Neural Dynamics Accelerator to guide strategic neuroscience initiatives, oversee operations, and champion open science. You will co‑lead scientific vision with the Chief Executive Officer, shaping long‑term plans and ensuring alignment across diverse teams.

Ideal candidates bring a track record in leading large, multi‑disciplinary programs, fostering inclusive scientific cultures, and securing strategic funding.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent in neuroscience, bioengineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
• 12+ years of relevant post-PhD experience in scientific and/or technical leadership role(s).
• 7+ years of experience in leading operational efforts around research.

Responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative, high‑performing scientific culture emphasizing rigor, innovation, and inclusion.
• Mentor and guide research staff, including group leads, postdocs, and early‑career scientists.
• Supervise scientific and operational teams and foster their growth and development.
• Co‑lead the Program Management team to align across research priorities and goals.
