Premier Research is seeking a Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology to join our Consulting Leadership team. You will provide strategic and operational leadership for the clinical pharmacology group, guiding planning, budgeting, and talent development.

You will oversee design and delivery of services for clients, manage budgets and margins, interact with regulatory authorities, and contribute to business development and thought leadership.

Formación

• Ph.D. in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, PharmD, or related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in clinical pharmacology studies/programs in CRO, pharma, biotech, or related environment.
• Knowledge in 505(b)(2) programs and regulatory requirements for biologics, gene therapy, and/or vaccines.
• Board certification in Clinical Pharmacology (e.g., DABPC/AP) is highly desired.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the research process and direct research experience.
• Demonstrated scientific writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including global companies and sponsors.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret scientific journals.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Effective communication of technical concepts in English.
• Flexibility regarding schedule and travel 10-15%.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the clinical pharmacology team including planning, budgeting, recruiting, and leading the team.
• Oversee design, delivery, and scope of integrated or stand‑alone clinical pharmacology services to meet needs of current and prospective clients; manage budget and proposals for margins.
• Develop organizational design and development to cultivate knowledge and skills, including contractor network for comprehensive service delivery.
• Monitor industry trends to drive revenue and gross margin growth aligned with corporate strategy.
• Ensure relationship between clinical pharmacology and other functions for client service excellence.
• Support team in client services and billable consulting; interact with FDA and regulatory authorities; mentor scientists and sponsors for FDA meetings.
• Monitor performance, utilization, and service delivery; assign team to BD activities and projects by capacity.
• Represent Premier in scientific community; contribute to thought leadership and attend industry events.
• Contribute to Consulting Leadership Team; help develop business plans and maintain culture and values.
