Cointelegraph is seeking a highly creative and experienced Executive Video Producer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and Web3 space, a passion for video storytelling, and a proven track record of developing successful video content. This role will be responsible for both generating original video concepts and providing creative leadership to our existing video production team.

Responsibilities

Video Conceptualization and Strategy:

• Conduct in-depth research and conceptualization to develop innovative video strategies that align with Cointelegraph's editorial goals and client objectives
• Identify emerging trends and topics within the cryptocurrency and Web3 space to create compelling and timely video content
• Generate fresh, new video ideas for both editorial and sponsored/client video projects

Creative Brief Development:

• Develop detailed creative briefs for video projects, outlining video objectives, target audience, key messages, and desired visual style
• Ensure alignment between client expectations, project goals, and creative vision

Video Production Oversight (Script to Delivery):

• Guide producers in the creation of high-quality video scripts that are both informative and engaging
• Ensure all video productions adhere to Cointelegraph's quality standards and brand guidelines

Creative Leadership and Mentorship:

• Provide creative direction and mentorship to the existing video production team, including producers, hosts, and editors
• Review and provide constructive feedback on video scripts and rough cuts, ensuring alignment with industry trends and best practices
• Foster a collaborative and creative environment within the video team

Performance Optimization

• Analyze video performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize future content strategies
• Stay up-to-date on the latest video trends, technologies, and best practices in the digital media landscape

Requirements

• 3-4 Years of Video Production experience
• 2+ Years of experience in the crypto / web3 industry
• Experience in working for diverse forms of video content. (Longform, Shortform, documentary, editorial content, talking head, sponsored videos etc.)
• Portfolio (Videos, Scripts)
• Test Project (Working on a script for an editorial video)
