Job description

You are decisive and direct, with the judgment to make a call and the confidence to hold senior, tenured department leaders accountable at the Vice President and Director level without needing their consensus first. You have low tolerance for stalled execution and a strong bias toward urgency and visible movement; you are energized by variety, speed, and a full plate, not drained by it.

You build trust through consistency and follow-through rather than charm alone. You are comfortable being the person in the room who says a deadline is firm, who pushes for an update before being asked, and who will surface an uncomfortable truth rather than let it sit. At the same time, you have enough emotional intelligence to do this without alienating the team, you read situationally when to be flexible on form and unyielding on outcomes.

You are genuinely energized by systems and technology as a lever for speed: you default to asking whether a process can be automated or AI-assisted, and you bring that instinct to the entire leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the organization’s Integrator™ within the EOS® framework, the primary bridge between the CEO’s strategic direction and the execution of day-to-day operations.
  • Own and drive the V/TO™ forward, ensuring all department leaders are aligned to the company’s 1-year plan, 3-year picture, and 10-year target.
  • Lead weekly Level 10 Meetings™ with the leadership team, maintaining IDS™ (Identify, Discuss, Solve) discipline and ensuring accountability across all functional areas.
  • Manage, track, and report on company-wide Rocks and Scorecard metrics on a weekly basis; escape issues quickly and decisively.
  • Build a culture of accountability, clarity, and traction, ensuring that everyone in the organization GWC™s (Gets it, Wants it, and has the Capacity to do) their role.
Operational Excellence
  • Provide direct operational oversight and reporting of WLG’s property management, construction, finance, and leasing/marketing teams.
  • Establish and maintain core operational processes that are documented, followed, and consistently improved across all departments.
  • Lead the organization’s technology and AI adoption agenda, identifying where automation and AI tools can reduce manual workload, increase reporting speed, and free the leadership team to focus on strategy rather than transactional work.
Team Leadership & Accountability
  • Directly lead and manage 4–6 department heads, including property management, marketing, finance/accounting, construction/facilities, and real estate development.
  • Stand up foundational people operations infrastructure (recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations) in the absence of a dedicated HR function, with a plan to build or outsource that function as the organization scales.
  • Hold frequent, structured one-on-ones and team meetings to lead, coach, and hold all direct reports accountable to their Rocks and KPIs.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and ownership throughout the organization, where issues surface early and solutions drive forward.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 15+ years of executive-level operational leadership, ideally within real estate development, construction, property management, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience as an EOS® Integrator™ or senior leader within an EOS/Traction-run organization, deep fluency in EOS tools, cadences, and language is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record leading diverse, cross-functional teams through strategic execution, goal achievement, and cultural alignment.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on P&L ownership experience; ability to read, analyze, and act on financial data with confidence.
  • Experience across multiple real estate asset classes (multi-family, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use) is a significant advantage.
  • A resourceful, decisive problem-solver who brings calm to complexity and is comfortable moving fast in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator; someone who earns trust quickly, builds consensus, and isn’t afraid to have the hard conversations.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Omaha, NE prior to start date.
  • Demonstrated readiness and ambition to grow into a Chief Operating Officer role, with the executive maturity, judgment, and track record of results to earn it.
WHY WHITE LOTUS GROUP
  • A defined path to COO: demonstrated success in this seat leads to formal advancement to Chief Operating Officer, with the title, authority, and compensation to match.
  • A seat at the table: you will have real authority, real accountability, and a genuine partnership with a visionary founder-CEO.
  • A diverse, growing portfolio with significant runway: commercial, multi-family, hospitality, and marquee mixed-use developments.
  • A values-driven team and culture that prioritizes community impact, long-term thinking, and doing things the right way.
  • Competitive executive compensation package including base salary, performance incentives, and full benefits (401k with match, health/dental/vision, HSA, life insurance, PTO), structured to scale upon advancement to COO.
  • The opportunity to build and operationalize systems that will define how WLG scales for the next decade.
