The Multinational Underwriter is a specialized resource within our underwriting practice. In this role you will be a member of The Hartford’s (HIG’s) growth initiatives to build and execute a broader multinational risk strategy that supports small, mid-size and large U.S. domiciled risks. More specifically, partnered with our home office and regional underwriting teams, this role will underwrite Controlled Master Programs (CMPs), manage the placement of compliant locally admitted policies with our Hartford Global Insurer Network, and provide multinational expertise at the point of sale as needed to differentiate HIG’s Multinational Choice offering.
Success in this role will entail demonstrated sales and negotiation skills, strategic planning to create new business, account expansion and cross sell opportunities. Underwriting includes Property and Casualty lines of business.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is :
92,400 - $184,800
The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
