Executive Underwriter for Commercial Lines role combines hands‑on underwriting of a highly experienced commercial lines underwriter with enterprise‑level referral authority, strategic influence over underwriting appetite, and leadership in underwriting policy, guideline development, and quality oversight. This individual contributor works directly in support of the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) and plays a key role in executing underwriting initiatives, reinforcing underwriting discipline, and advancing strategic priorities across the company. The Executive Underwriter also provides technical mentorship, and ensures alignment with CIC’s underwriting philosophy, and corporate strategy.
Extensive use of a computer keyboard is a demand of the position to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
Currently, hybrid work environment, which requires working in CIC’s office Tuesdays through Thursdays and flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Salary Range: $99,000 - $132,000
