Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies is seeking a Vice President, Treasurer to steward the company's cash, liquidity, capital, and treasury risk.

This leader will shape funding strategies, manage banking relationships, and align treasury with finance, risk, and operations to sustain financial stability. Reporting to the CFO, the role requires deep expertise in capital management, risk controls, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, management, economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years as Treasurer or senior financial role in broker-dealer, capital markets, wealth management, or banking.
• Knowledge of financial regulation, internal controls, and risk management.
• Familiarity with broker-dealer net capital, money markets, and investment management.
• Experience with cash and liquidity management, capital planning, funding, investments, collateral, and banking relationships.
• Strong leadership, judgment, and communication abilities.
• Willingness to satisfy registration requirements (SIE, Series 99, Series 27) if required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, and financial-management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead treasury strategies, operations, controls, budgets, and reporting.
• Advise on liquidity implications of plans, capital investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage daily cash movement, forecast cash flow, and ensure liquidity for operating needs.
• Oversee capital management, working capital, and balance-sheet optimization.
• Monitor trading, investments, collateral, and risk; create dashboards and stress tests.
• Maintain relationships with banks, rating agencies, insurance brokers, and other counterparties.
• Develop policies and controls; ensure regulatory compliance and timely reporting.
• Prepare treasury budgets and executive dashboards; drive automation and data quality.
