Job summary

Crisis24 is seeking a dedicated Support Officer to join our executive protection and emergency response framework in Menlo Park, CA. You will safeguard personnel, property, and sensitive information while delivering professional security services.

You will bring executive protection, emergency response, and residential security experience, plus strong communication and tactical awareness in dynamic environments. A BSIS Guard Card and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in executive protection, emergency response teams, PSD, or residential security teams.
• Strong communication skills and presence under pressure.
• Ability to pass pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT) and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive protection and a strong security presence for staff and clients.
• Respond to security threats including active shooter scenarios.
• Monitor and inspect security systems; ensure proper operation and access control.
• Produce detailed incident reports and communicate with leadership.
• Assist protective agents in field operations and advance walkthroughs.

YOUR MISSION

As a Support Officer, you will be a critical component of our executive protection and emergency response framework. You will operate with precision and professionalism, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and proprietary information. Your responsibilities include:

• Executive Protection & Presence: Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Threat Response: Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s office suite.
• Security Systems Oversight: Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure; locks, cameras, access control systems to ensure operational integrity.
• Incident Reporting: Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.
• Advance & Support Operations: Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.
• Protocol Enforcement: Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.
• Emergency Protocol Execution: Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.
• Area Sweeps & Surveillance: Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.
• Team Integration: Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.

What You Bring:

• Experience: Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Protective Security Detail (PSD), or Residential Security Teams (RST)

Certifications & Credentials:

• Valid BSIS CA Guard Card; this is an unarmed position
• American Heart Association BLS ProviderORHeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• U.S. Passport & Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)
• Background Investigation & Random Drug Screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military, law enforcement, or ERT experience
• CA CCW, Exposed Firearm Permit, LEOSA/HR 218 permit or CCW valid for all 50 states
• Specialized training in crisis management, emergency medicine, or incident response
• Completion of Executive Protection or Residential Security Academy
• EMT license strongly considered, but not required
• Familiarity with Corporate and/or Residential Security Technologies, Tools and Processes
