Job summary

Rakuten International is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to translate strategy into effective operating mechanisms and to elevate decision quality at the enterprise level. This role partners with senior leaders to enable scale through structure and clarity, without direct people leadership.

You will design KPI dashboards, manage enterprise rhythm, and craft executive-ready insights. Proficiency with AI tools like Claude for rapid material production is expected.

Qualifications

• Partner with senior executives and influence outcomes.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder persuasion.
• Experience shaping enterprise operating models and planning.
• Analytical, able to translate complex data into insights.
• Experience with generative AI tools for content and automation.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years in Strategy & Operations or Chief of Staff-adjacent roles.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into clear operating plans and milestones.
• Structure executive discussions and surface tradeoffs for decisions.
• Own and improve enterprise operating rhythm including planning sessions.
• Maintain visibility into initiatives, risks, and outcomes with mitigations.
• Design KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting for execs.
• Produce executive-ready insights and materials for leadership.
• Support competitive and market analyses with internal teams.
• Use Claude and AI tools to draft exec materials and scans.
