  • Strong project, program, portfolio, and change management expertise.

Job description

The Executive Strategy Lead is a high-impact enterprise leader responsible for shaping and driving strategic priorities that improve business performance, accelerate growth, and strengthen organizational effectiveness. This role works closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to translate enterprise priorities into actionable strategies, measurable outcomes, and sustainable business results.

The Executive Strategy Lead brings together strategic thinking, analytical rigor, commercial judgment, and disciplined execution to help the organization navigate complex business challenges and deliver meaningful transformation. This individual will operate across functions including Commercial, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Customer-facing teams, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and a catalyst for enterprise-wide change.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in environments characterized by complexity, ambiguity, and significant organizational change. They are equally capable of developing the strategy, building alignment among senior stakeholders, and ensuring that decisions translate into execution and measurable value.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Strategy & Transformation
  • Translate enterprise priorities into strategic roadmaps that clearly define scope, objectives, outcomes, sequencing, governance, resources, and measures of success.
  • Lead high-priority transformation initiatives from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Establish mechanisms to monitor progress, adoption, risks, performance metrics, and post-implementation value realization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operating performance, organizational effectiveness, and enterprise value.
  • Apply analytical rigor, commercial judgment, customer insight, and business acumen to evaluate complex opportunities and recommend strategic actions.
  • Build strong credibility with executive stakeholders by bringing structure, clarity, and an outcome-oriented approach to complex business challenges.
M&A, Integration & Strategic Leadership
  • Lead cross-functional acquisition and integration initiatives, including due diligence, integration planning, synergy identification, organizational alignment, change management, and value creation.
  • Develop acquisition and integration strategies that align market opportunities with enterprise growth objectives, operating model requirements, and value creation priorities.
  • Partner with senior leaders to assess organizational, operational, financial, and commercial implications of strategic opportunities.
  • Distill complex strategies and transformation priorities into compelling, audience-appropriate narratives that support executive decision-making and organizational alignment.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without direct authority, building consensus and driving accountability across complex initiatives.
  • Lead through ambiguity and organizational complexity while maintaining clarity of priorities, decisions, and expected outcomes.
Executive Advisor & Leadership Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior executives on critical business priorities, organizational challenges, and transformation opportunities.
  • Shape and facilitate executive leadership forums, strategic planning sessions, business reviews, and leadership offsites that drive alignment and accelerate execution.
  • Develop executive-level briefing materials, presentations, business reviews, and decision recommendations.
  • Synthesize complex financial, operational, commercial, and organizational information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure effective follow-through on executive decisions and commitments.
  • Drive organizational accountability by monitoring strategic initiatives, identifying risks and barriers, and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to keep priorities on track.
Transformation, Performance & Value Creation
  • Establish transformation governance, operating rhythms, and performance management mechanisms for enterprise initiatives.
  • Define KPIs and success measures that demonstrate business impact and value realization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational excellence, and improved organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with functional leaders to address execution barriers and improve organizational adoption of strategic initiatives.
  • Assess risks, dependencies, and resource requirements across strategic programs and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure transformation efforts produce sustainable improvements in business performance.
Qualification
  • sBachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred. Preferred fields include business, economics, marketing, strategy, finance, operations, or related disciplines
  • .12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, transformation, operations, commercial leadership, customer success, management consulting, corporate strategy, or related business leadership roles
  • .Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives from strategy through execution
  • .Demonstrated experience working directly with executive leadership teams and, ideally, boards or other governance bodies
  • .Strong project, program, portfolio, and change management expertise
  • .Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
  • .Experience with process improvement, operational excellence, performance reporting, and transformation governance preferred
  • .Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business issues, develop strategic recommendations, and influence senior decision-makers
  • .Experience with mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other significant enterprise transformations strongly preferred
