Job Summary

This individual will support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for staff. Responsibilities include preparing or directing meal preparation in accordance with corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure high-quality food presentation in a cost-effective manner.
  2. Assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food prep.
  3. Support cost control and expenditure management.
  4. Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
  5. Supervise kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
  6. Motivate, train, and develop kitchen staff.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or related; or A.O.S. Degree with additional training.
  • 3-5 years relevant culinary experience.
  • Mastery of various kitchen stations.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt.
  • Knowledge of food cost and quality control.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
