Job Summary

This individual will support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, and preparing meals according to corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef to ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, production, and merchandising standards.
  • Motivate, train, and develop back-of-house staff to meet operational goals.
  • Ensure high-quality, creatively presented, and cost-effective food items.
  • Participate in planning, ordering, inventory, and food prep activities.
  • Support cost control and expenditure management.
  • Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or related field; or A.O.S. Degree with additional training.
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
  • Mastery of various kitchen stations and positions.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing needs.
  • Knowledge of food cost management and product quality.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certified in ServSafe, HACCP, or similar sanitation standards.
  • Understanding of current culinary trends and presentation skills preferred.
