Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, located next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across from Scissortail Park.

The property features multiple dining outlets, a spa, fitness center, rooftop pool and bar, and extensive meeting and event spaces.

Job Description

The Executive Sous Chef - Banquets oversees kitchen operations and food production for banquet outlets, ensuring efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain hotel policies and standards to ensure quality service within budget.
  • Assist in budgeting, control costs, and report variances with recommendations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction through smooth daily operations.
  • Control purchasing and receiving processes.
  • Evaluate product quality and monitor wastage.
  • Inspect banquet sections during service to uphold standards.
  • Manage equipment and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience; administrative experience preferred.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Delphi, or similar programs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • At least 3 years management experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a 4-star banquet setting.
  • Serve Safe certification strongly desired.
