Executive Sous Chef
Seeking a Sous chef with cooking and management skills who can take the lead on the Executive chef's days off, maintain quality control, and manage the cafe's production, labor/inventory.
We're launching our first two food trucks this Spring!
Job Details:
- Creating menu specials, motivating and mentoring staff, and containing food and labor costs.
- This position is for a creative and dedicated leader committed to maintaining quality-focused standards at a small café with high sales volume during breakfast and lunch service.
- Our recently expanded open kitchen café features Southern cuisine made from scratch.
- We are open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. in Philadelphia's Reading Terminal Market.
- This position is predominantly 5 days a week, not many evenings, with an average work week of 55 - 60 hours.
