Job summary

National Geographic is seeking a Promotions - Social Content Coordinator to provide executive-level coordination and strategic support to the Editor in Chief. The role balances administrative tasks with high-impact projects across the Social organization, coordinating with multiple teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery and alignment with VP priorities.

You will build communications, create decks, manage travel itineraries, and help track milestones.

Qualifications

• Maintains strict confidentiality and exercises discretion.
• Able to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable with macOS environment.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Tactfully manages VP’s time, calendar, and communications with leadership team and stakeholders.
• Coordinates day-to-day scheduling and multi-time zone video conferences.
• Prepares presentations, agendas, and distributes materials for meetings.
• Tracks milestones and assists with budget/expenses and reporting.
• Supports cross-department collaboration and project delivery across Social org.
