Job summary

College Track is seeking an Executive Site Director for our Baltimore site to lead philanthropic efforts, growth, and program integrity in a fast-growing urban center. You will steward relationships with anchor partners, cultivate new donors, and build a local advisory network, all while steering the mission at the city level.

You’ll oversee recruitment, retention, and the student-pathway initiatives that keep scholars engaged for a ten-year journey, directing a small team and managing the site

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Proven fundraising with anchor partners and donors.
• Strong strategic thinking and external relations skills.
• Bachelor's degree; master's preferred.

College Track's Baltimore site is in its earliest, most formative days, launched through a bold partnership with the Baltimore Ravens, M&T Bank, and Baltimore City Public Schools. The scholars we serve will be the first to experience what we're building here. The Executive Site Director will be the person who makes sure it's worth experiencing.

What College Track Does

College Track is a 10-year commitment to first-generation college students — from high school through a bachelor's degree. We don't just help students get in; we help them stay, graduate, and thrive. Our scholars graduate college at three times the national average for first-generation students, and by age 30, they earn an average of $89,823 — well above the national median.

We've been doing this since 1997. We operate 13 centers. And Baltimore is our next horizon.

What You'll Own:

Philanthropic Leadership

You'll be the face of College Track in Baltimore — stewarding transformational relationships with anchor investors like the Ravens and M&T Bank, cultivating new donors, building a Local Advisory Board, and representing the mission at events, in media, and with elected officials. This role carries real external presence and real responsibility.

Scholar Recruitment & Retention

You'll set the vision for how Baltimore students find us and stay with us — working closely with school and district partners to build the infrastructure that keeps scholars on a ten-year path.

Culture & Team Leadership

You'll lead a team of 3–4 direct reports and co-create the norms, values, and practices that define what it feels like to work and learn at College Track Baltimore. The culture you build now will outlast your tenure.

Financial Accountability

You'll hold the site budget, partner with Finance on forecasting, and make sure every dollar works toward scholar outcomes.

You bring:

• 10–13 years of relevant experience, with proven ability to lead organizations or programs toward ambitious outcomes
• A track record of fundraising and relationship-building with high-profile partners, funders, and community stakeholders
• Strategic instincts — you can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to execute
• Exceptional communication skills that inspire confidence and galvanize people across diverse audiences
• Deep belief in the potential of first-generation students
• A bachelor's degree (master's preferred)
• Availability for an 11:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule Monday–Friday (to be present when scholars are)
• A valid driver's license and ability to meet College Track's driver clearance process
• Spanish or Cantonese fluency is a bonus

• Salary: $118,875 – $128,749 (target range); full range up to $148,500 based on experience
