Job description

An Executive Search Recruiter serves as an integral member of Kingsley Gate’s search project team, supporting Partners and Vice Presidents in their direct call and external outreach efforts to identify and evaluate candidates for placement with clients. The Executive Search Recruiter works collaboratively with the search team to define research and recruitment strategies, develop position profiles, interview and screen qualified candidates, and write candidate reports. Additionally, Executive Search Recruiters may participate in business development activities and are encouraged to develop in-depth knowledge of given industry sectors and functional specialties.

All Executive Search Recruiter must be at ease speaking with Vice President, C-suite, and Board-level executives and representing clients in a variety of industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, consumer products, and education.

Responsibilities
Talent Identification

Identify, research, and engage potential executive candidates using a variety of sourcing methods. In conjunction with the search team, develop a cohesive recruitment strategy that aligns with and supports the client’s hiring objectives. Partner with clients to communicate career opportunities and attract the highest caliber candidates.

Candidate Assessment

Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments of executive candidates to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the client organizations.

Candidate Presentation

Present shortlisted candidates to clients, including comprehensive candidate profiles and assessments, and facilitate client-candidate interviews. Leverage tech-enabled tools and databases to track candidate pipelines, monitor search progress, and provide timely updates to clients. Produce weekly reports for internal and external use.

As an Associate Executive Search Recruiter, you will focus on building foundational skills in talent acquisition, candidate assessment, and client engagement. You will work closely with senior team members and have the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in candidate assessments.
  • Support in client engagement activities.

  • Continuous professional development through training and mentorship.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in recruiting or an inside sales development role.

Director

Directors take on increased responsibilities and contribute to the success of our executive search projects. This role involves deeper client engagement, leadership in candidate assessments, and the ability to manage more complex search assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading candidate assessments and interview processes.
  • Developing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Collaborating with clients to define executive search strategies.
  • Mentorship of junior team members.
  • Contribution to industry knowledge and trends.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in recruiting or inside sales development.
  • Proven experience in developing candidates and engaging with clients consistently to provide superior service.
  • Effective negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.

Principals take on advanced responsibility in leading and driving search execution for vertical and horizontal practices within Kingsley Gate. Additionally, this role focuses on increasing revenue from existing clients, through superior search execution and exceeding clients’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing client engagement of the search on behalf of the Lead Partner.
  • Advises hiring managers and committees as to market conditions, salary requirements, recruitment trends, and promotes executive search best practices throughout all search engagements.
  • Provides leadership and vision for search impact and performance.
  • Collaborates with partners and primarily drives continued business with existing clients while introducing potential new clients through candidate interactions and recommends business development opportunities.
  • Connects with key industry contacts to set up meetings to share KG capabilities and sector expertise.
  • Provides input for improvements of technology and processes.
  • 10 plus years’ experience, ideally developing specialty experience in an industry or functional area.
  • Has developed a minimum of 3 new search engagements from at least two separate existing client accounts.
  • Successfully conducted and completed national and global searches across multiple geographies.
  • Strong understanding of working within a wide variety of organizational cultures and structures.
  • Demonstrated success with working in ever-changing environments and comfort in fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent internal (partner) and external customer relationship management skills.
