Job summary

A leading electrical contracting firm in Carrollton, TX seeks a Safety Director to lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations like OSHA. This role involves developing safety programs, overseeing a safety team, and providing training while promoting a zero-incident safety culture. Candidates must possess a relevant Bachelor's degree and several years of experience in safety leadership within the electrical or construction industries.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8+ years of safety leadership experience in electrical contracting or construction industries.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and industry-specific electrical safety regulations.
• Professional safety certifications preferred: CSP, CHST, OHST, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs and policies.
• Lead and promote a safety-first culture across all projects and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses for all active job sites.
• Oversee investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
