Job description

Our client, a Hedge Fund in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a polished, energetic and engaging Executive/Research Assistant. This person will help support a Director and their direct reports on the Research Team. The ideal hire is someone who can handle all the core parts of an admin role alongside collaborating on research and projects. Additionally, the candidate will have a good energy about them, be detail-oriented and have a positive and engaging personality. A degree from an accredited four year university is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative and organizational support for Director and team
  • Coordinate high volume of internal and external meetings
  • Develop relationships across the firm to effectively plan meetings/calls
  • Calendar planning: screen for conflicts and make sure teams are coordinated for meetings (travel accommodations)
  • Log corporate access and broker interactions in CRM database
  • Book travel arrangements including flight, hotel, and ground transportation for team
  • Process expense reports for team
  • Develop basic understanding of covered sector
  • Participate in weekly team meetings
  • Provide EA support to Director and team
  • Ad hoc research projects
  • Relationship management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced professional with a minimum of 5-15 years of experience
  • Excellent English, grammar, written and oral communication skills
  • Proven record of successful problem solving
  • Superior organizational skills and record-keeping, and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude and high energy level
  • Adaptable, flexible to changes and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro and related software
  • Bachelor’s degree required

SALARY:
$100-150K (DOE) + discretionary bonus + great benefits + 401(K) and profit sharing + 25 days PTO + team lunch Fridays

HOURS:
8:30am-5:30pm + flexibility for minimal OT
