Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority East seeks an experienced Director of Finance to serve as CFO and principal financial advisor to the Regional Director and Board. Lead budgeting, long-range planning, treasury, revenue strategy and compliance, while guiding senior finance leaders and coordinating with operations, procurement and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Advanced degree or CPA preferred; supervisory experience required.
• Public-sector budgeting, financial operations, controls and reporting experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve as principal financial advisor to leadership and board.
• Translate complex financial data into clear analyses for decisions.
• Evaluate financial implications of policies and projects.
• Develop scenarios, forecasts and sensitivity analyses.
• Monitor compliance with GAAP, GASB and statutory requirements.
• Oversee annual audits, financial reporting and liaison with auditors.
• Collaborate with divisions to set sustainable financial priorities.
• Ensure transparent budgeting, reserve management and funding planning.
• Provide leadership across Finance to senior managers.
