The candidate will perform advance planning, on-site protection, secure transportation coordination, and continuous risk assessment, including travel worldwide and rotation

Qualifications

• Prior special operations or elite military background preferred.
• Formal Executive Protection certification required from a recognized program.
• Experience in dignitary, executive, or celebrity protection.
• Firearms proficiency with ongoing qualification.
• First Aid/CPR/TCCC certification.
• Ability to obtain VA armed work licensure.
• Valid driver's license; defensive driving a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Must pass extensive background investigation.
• Discretion and composure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct protective coverage for principal and immediate family members.
• Conduct advance work: route planning, site surveys, and threat assessments.
• Coordinate secure transportation, lodging, and movement logistics.
• Maintain constant situational awareness across settings.
• Identify and de-escalate potential threats; respond decisively.
• Maintain discretion regarding schedule and personal affairs.
• Rotate shifts, travel on short notice, and be away from home base.

About the RoleAecon Global Security is seeking a highly trained Executive Protection Specialist to join a dedicated personal security detail for a high-visibility principal and their family, based in McLean, VA.
